Open Terminal and run the following commands:-
- sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
- sudo apt-add-repository ppa:openjdk/ppa
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk
- sudo update-alternatives –config java (Type the Version number and press Enter)
- sudo java -version
Now Check Your Java Version.
