Hello! I’m Mayur Patel, and my journey has been anything but conventional.

What started as a 15-year career in technology has evolved into something I never expected – a life deeply rooted in farming and storytelling here in the fertile lands of South Gujarat, India.

From Tech to Soil

My professional journey began in 2002 in the IT industry, where I spent over a decade and a half honing my technical expertise. I progressed from System Analyst at Media Computers to Senior Service Engineer at Network Computers, eventually becoming a Senior Technical Support Executive and later Technical Support Manager at Enjay Network Solutions and Enjay I.T. Solution Ltd. respectively.

For 15 years, I thrived in the fast-paced world of technology, solving complex problems, managing teams, and helping businesses navigate their digital challenges. But in September 2017, I made a decision that surprised many – I traded my corporate desk for the open fields.

A New Chapter

Since September 2017, I’ve been a farmer, embracing the rhythm of seasons and the satisfaction of growing life from the earth. But my love for sharing knowledge didn’t fade when I left the corporate world. Instead, it found a new outlet through blogging, where I document my experiences, insights, and the lessons learned from both my tech background and agricultural journey.

Bridging Two Worlds

My unique perspective comes from living in two very different worlds – the digital landscape of IT solutions and the timeless practice of farming. This combination gives me a distinctive voice in writing about technology, agriculture, sustainable practices, and the intersection of traditional wisdom with modern innovation.

Through my blogs, I share stories of transformation, practical insights from the field, and reflections on how technology can serve agriculture and rural communities. My technical background helps me approach farming with analytical thinking, while my farming experience has taught me patience, resilience, and the value of working with nature rather than against it.
